1-Minute-Microwave-Cookies_StoryOfSpices.

I brought these 1 Minute Microwave cookies to my building’s ladies club meeting and they were a super duper hit. Since I made a bunch, I also distributed them to all of my friends. One of my aunts, shared this recipe with me years back and I followed it almost exactly (using brown sugar instead of normal white sugar) and they turned out fantastic!

It’s so easy, a child could make it. As a matter of fact, mine did. Because these warm, soft chocolate chip cookies take only few seconds to make and doesn’t involve perfect scooping or lots of messy cleanup. Just a Microwave, a bowl and a handful of basic ingredients for a chocolaty treat.

These cookies pictures were clicked by my son. This is “his” recipe and he is a total pro at making it up.

Pour the flour and other ingredients excepts chocolate chips over this mixture and mix gently with a spatula just until well incorporated. When it’s done, your dough should form into 1 mass.

Finally fold in chocolate chips and mix the dough together with your hands. It’s actually feels kind of nice to get your hands in there (let me know if you agree).

A Few Tips On Making The Best Homemade 1 Minute Microwave Cookies:

  • Here I used Maida/ Refined flour but you can replace it with Whole wheat flour also.

  • You can replace Brown sugar with Normal White sugar but I recommend brown sugar because it gives nice aromatic flavor to these cookies.

  • You can add some vanilla essence too.

  • I used chocolate chips here but also, chopped dark or milk chocolate are wonderful for this recipe. You can add any topping as you like, some ideas are nuts and dried fruits.

  • The cookie will remain soft when you remove it from oven, it gets hard when they get cold. So never bake them more than 1 min.

  • These cookies should be baked in normal micro mode, not in convection mode

  • DO NOT over bake! Please be precise and use the exact amounts in the recipe.
